Immigration Services Disclaimer
Effective 13 September 2026
Ephrata Consultancy Ltd (“Ephrata”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides immigration and global mobility consultancy and support services to individuals, families, students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and other clients seeking international opportunities.
Please read this disclaimer carefully before engaging our immigration-related services.
1. No Guarantee of Immigration Outcome
Ephrata does not guarantee the approval or success of any immigration, visa, permit, permanent residence, citizenship, work authorization, study permit, or other application.
All immigration decisions are made solely by the relevant government authority, immigration department, visa office, embassy, consulate, tribunal, or other authorised decision-making body.
A successful outcome depends on a variety of factors, including applicable laws and policies, eligibility requirements, the information and documentation provided, the applicant’s individual circumstances, and the discretion of the relevant authority.
2. Immigration Rules Can Change
Immigration laws, regulations, policies, programmes, eligibility criteria, processing procedures, fees, and documentation requirements may change at any time.
Information provided by Ephrata is based on the information and requirements reasonably available to us at the time of providing our services.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information; however, we cannot guarantee that information will remain unchanged throughout your application or engagement.
3. Accuracy of Client Information
Clients are responsible for providing complete, truthful, accurate, and current information and genuine supporting documentation.
Ephrata relies on the information and documents provided by clients when assessing and assisting with applications.
We are not responsible for consequences arising from information that is false, incomplete, misleading, inaccurate, outdated, or withheld by a client.
Providing fraudulent, altered, or misleading documents or information may result in serious legal and immigration consequences. Clients must never ask Ephrata to submit information or documents that they know to be false or misleading.
4. Our Role
Depending on the service engaged, Ephrata may provide immigration information, eligibility guidance, application preparation support, document checklists, administrative assistance, application coordination, and related consultancy services.
The exact services provided will depend on the client’s engagement and any applicable service agreement.
Ephrata does not have authority to make immigration decisions and cannot compel or influence a government authority to approve an application.
Ephrata does not claim to have special access, privileged channels, or improper influence with any immigration authority, embassy, consulate, government official, or decision-maker.
5. Professional and Legal Advice
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information provided by Ephrata should not be understood as legal advice.
Where a matter requires advice or representation from a lawyer, licensed immigration professional, or another regulated professional, clients may be advised to obtain independent professional advice or may be referred to an appropriately qualified professional where appropriate.
Clients remain free to seek independent legal or professional advice at any stage.
6. Third-Party Decisions

- Government departments
- Border and customs authorities
- Educational institutions
- Employers
- Credential-assessment organisations
- Medical or testing providers

Processing times and decisions are outside Ephrata’s control.
7. Processing Times
Any processing time communicated by Ephrata is an estimate or information obtained from the relevant authority and is not a guarantee.
Processing may take longer or shorter than expected due to application volumes, additional document requests, background checks, security screening, policy changes, technical issues, administrative delays, or other circumstances.
Clients should not make irreversible travel, employment, financial, educational, or relocation decisions solely on the basis of an estimated processing time.
8. Client Responsibility
Although Ephrata may assist with the preparation and coordination of an application, clients remain responsible for their personal circumstances and for complying with all applicable immigration requirements.
Clients should carefully review information and documents prepared for them and promptly notify Ephrata of any errors, omissions, or changes in circumstances.
Clients are also responsible for attending appointments, providing biometrics, completing medical examinations, responding to requests from authorities, and meeting applicable deadlines unless otherwise agreed as part of the service.
9. Fees and Third-Party Costs
Ephrata’s professional or consultancy fees are separate from government and other third-party fees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Government fees, application fees, biometrics fees, medical examination fees, translation fees, credential-assessment fees, courier charges, legal fees, and other third-party costs may apply.
Such fees may change and may be non-refundable according to the policies of the relevant organisation.
10. Refusals and Negative Decisions
An immigration application may be refused, rejected, withdrawn, returned, delayed, or otherwise unsuccessful even where an applicant appears to meet certain eligibility requirements.
Ephrata does not guarantee that an application will be approved.
Where appropriate and within the scope of the services engaged, Ephrata may assist a client in understanding the reasons for a decision and discussing possible next steps. Any further service may be subject to a separate agreement and additional fees.
11. No Circumvention or Improper Influence
Ephrata will not knowingly participate in fraud, misrepresentation, document falsification, deception, bribery, or any other unlawful or unethical activity.
Clients must not request or expect Ephrata to circumvent immigration rules, provide false information, create misleading documentation, or improperly influence a government decision.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services where a client requests or engages in unlawful, fraudulent, or unethical conduct.
12. Information on Our Website

Such information does not constitute a promise, guarantee, or determination that a particular individual is eligible for a specific immigration programme or pathway.
Eligibility must be assessed based on the applicant’s individual circumstances and the requirements applicable at the relevant time.
13. Independent Verification
Clients are encouraged to verify important immigration requirements and official information through the relevant government authority.
Where there is a difference between information provided by Ephrata and an official government requirement, the applicable official requirement should be followed.
14. Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ephrata is not responsible for losses arising from decisions or actions taken by immigration authorities or other third parties, changes in immigration laws or policies, delays outside our reasonable control, or inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by a client.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
